Lubricants in Kenya – Water-Based, Silicone, Flavoured & More
Lube is the simplest way to make sex and toys more comfortable and more pleasurable — and there is nothing wrong with needing it. Stress, hormones, the pill, breastfeeding, menopause and even Nairobi’s dry season can all affect natural wetness. A good lubricant reduces friction, prevents tiny tears and helps condoms work properly.

How to choose lubricants in Kenya
Water-based lube works with every toy and condom — our everyday bestseller is KES 1,200.
Silicone lube lasts 3× longer and does not wash off in water. Not for silicone toys.
Choose the aloe vera formula — no glycerin, parabens or fragrance.
Use the thick gel — it cushions and stays in place.
Our lubricant range covers every need: an everyday pH-balanced water-based lube, an ultra long-lasting silicone lube, a creamy hybrid, an organic aloe vera formula for sensitive skin, a sugar-free strawberry flavoured lube, a gentle warming lube, a thick cushioning gel for anal and strap-on play, and handy travel sachets. Every bottle arrives sealed in its own box, inside our plain, unbranded delivery packaging.

Lubricants guide
How to use lubricant
Start with a coin-sized amount on your fingers, your partner or the toy, and add more whenever things feel less slippery — reapplying is normal. With a condom, apply lube to the outside after it is on (a drop inside the tip can increase sensation). For toys, coat the toy rather than yourself for less mess.
Ingredients to avoid
Glycerin and sugars can trigger yeast infections in some women. Parabens, strong fragrances, menthol and numbing agents (like benzocaine) can irritate delicate skin — numbing is especially risky for anal play because it hides pain. Never use Vaseline, body lotion or cooking oil with latex condoms: oil weakens latex and can cause it to break.
Is lube safe if we are trying to conceive?
Most regular lubricants can slow sperm. If you are trying for a baby, look for a lube labelled “fertility-friendly”, or ask us on WhatsApp and we will advise you.
Storage & shelf life
Keep lube sealed, out of direct sunlight and away from heat — not on a sunny windowsill or in a hot car. Most of our lubricants last 2–3 years unopened and 12 months after opening.
Lubricants FAQs — Kenya
How much is lubricant in Kenya?
Our lubricants cost KES 800 for a 10-pack of travel sachets, KES 1,200 for the 100 ml water-based lube, KES 1,300 for strawberry flavoured, KES 1,500 for aloe vera sensitive, KES 1,600 for hybrid cream or warming lube, KES 1,700 for thick gel and KES 1,900 for the silicone-based lube.
Which lubricant is safe with sex toys?
Water-based lubricant is safe with every type of toy, including silicone, glass and rose toys. Silicone-based lube should not be used with silicone toys because it can damage their surface — use it with glass toys instead.
Can I use Vaseline or coconut oil as lube?
Please do not use Vaseline, lotion or oils with latex condoms — they weaken latex and can cause condoms to break. Oils can also trap bacteria. A proper water-based lube is safer and washes off easily.
Is it normal to need lube?
Completely normal. Natural wetness changes with hormones, stress, medication, breastfeeding, menopause and even the weather. Lube simply makes things more comfortable and pleasurable for everyone.
